Details: I started teaching Japanese in 2018, based physically in Edinburgh but supporting students throughout the UK to achieve goals such as preparing for study abroad or travel to Japan, passing the JLPT and improving overall Japanese fluency. I hold N1 of the JLPT, First Class (Honours) with Distinction in Spoken Japanese (University of Edinburgh), and have approximately 2 years' experience working, living and studying in Japan. My approach to teaching is informed by previous experience as an English teacher (1 year in China) and my pre-honours studies of linguistics.
